What is TextAlert?

• TextAlert’s primary function is to wirelessly monitor (via radio) up to 16 sensors placed in zones up to 300m away; then to transmit customised warning sms/text messages to up to 5 recipients when any zone is violated.
• TextAlert can identify and report precisely which direction an intruder is moving – e.g. “Intruder ENTERING driveway” for one zone, and “Intruder EXITING driveway” for another; critical information for anyone who wants to either avoid or apprehend a trespasser.
• When triggered, TextAlert can also dial the recipient’s numbers to wake them up if they are asleep (in case they sleep through an incoming text/sms).
• It also has a 10-pin ‘output’ and ‘input’ capability; that can trigger Armed Response (via radio antenna provided by Armed Response).
• The 10-pin plug port also allows you to plug into an ExpandAlert and hard wire 5 inputs (e.g. an existing alarm, door contact, smoke detector) and 5 outputs via the optional GP-I/O switch; for example to open a garage door and/or turn on lights when your remote is pushed.

• Responding to sensors or key ring remotes, TextAlert can also be configured to execute desired actions; such as:
• opening gates
• turning on path lights or perimeter floodlights
• activating sirens
• calling armed response.

How it works:

• When a wireless sensor detects an intruder and transmits a security coded radio pulse, TextAlert instantly identifies the precise zone and sends a pre-customised text/sms message for that zone: For example : “INTRUDER *entering* driveway , 3 Central Dr, Smith family, please HELP”.

• Any zone can also trigger Armed Response and call up to 5 cell phones – from a conveniently pre-stored list of up to 16 recipients.
• You can manage each zone independently.
• The sensors can be placed and then relocated easily.
• TextAlert can be used to protect far more than just your home. Here are a couple of examples:
• to protect boundaries on golf and security estates
• to monitor livestock, equipment, assets and boundaries on farms
• to protect yachts, stables and other valuable assets
• to assist neighbourhood watch organisations to monitor greenbelts and pathways that criminals use and ordinary citizens would not normally be on after dark.
