What is ExpandAlert Hub?

• ExpandAlert hub connects TextAlert to external devices in the home, office or farm and/or plugs into CommandAlert to extend CommandAlert’s on-board 2-input/2-output capabilities to up to 32 inputs/outputs (by daisy-chain connecting 6 ExpandAlerts in series) .

How it works:

• It is a plug-and-play hardware component that allows you to:
• With TextAlert: either trigger (up to 5) devices, such as sirens and lights or receive prompts from (up to 5) devices such as existing alarms, which in turn causes TextAlert to communicate back to you via SMS.
• With CommandAlert – to expand CommandAlert’s capabilities (2 input/2 output) to an additional 32 inputs and outputs that can trigger devices such as sirens and lights, generators, gates, servers, etc., or receive prompts from (up to 37) devices such as existing alarms, bore-hole level meters, temperature thermometers, electronic scales, etc., which in turn causes TextAlert to report (data or automated actions taken) back to you via sms.
